Eric Lindbloom

1. — My earliest memory of meeting Harry & Cathy was going with Nancy Willard and them to a sandwich shop in Poughkeepsie after a lecture at Vassar. The shop was called Blondies and featured booths fashioned out of 1950′s car fenders and oversized tail fins. I remember the four of us eating large, sticky sweet ice cream confections — something that has not reoccured. It must have been those oversized tail fins that made us do it.

2. After forty years in photography, it is still a matter of looking for the next good picture. Over the last couple of decades, I’ve worked intensively in series, a strategy with pluses and minuses.
