1. — How and when you first met Harry Roseman — I first met Harry when Louise was teaching at Vassar. She stayed with Cathy and Harry and spoke about them often, but as I recall I met them first when we visited their house for Harry’s birthday party. It was a gala occasion, with most of Harry’s exuberant family in attendance. That must have been about 1984?
2. — A statement about your work and/or a brief autobiographical statement. — I’ve published two chapbooks and three full collections of poetry, and a book of essays, The Stamp of Class: Reflections on Poetry and Social Class. I’ve also edited a couple of books for Teachers & Writers Collaborative, the T&W Guide to William Carlos Williams and T&W Guide to Classic American Literature, and published many reviews and articles in places such as Exquisite Corpse, American Poetry Review, Talisman, etc.
