1. How and when you first met Harry Roseman
– I met Harry through the talented and vivacious artist Joy Taylor. I became better acquainted with his work one day when I was returning from the Cayman Islands, where I been stashing some excess royalties in offshore accounts. Passing through the International Arrivals Building at Kennedy Airport, I encountered his magical, almost mystical, frozen draperies. What a mind-blower.
2. A statement about your work and/or a brief autobiographical statement.
– I am a professional writer. I have to my credit five novels, a history of gunpowder, screenplays, short stories, and magazine features on topics ranging from the spirituality of emergency medical services to the history of poker. Sometime in the near future, I plan to try my hand at that most lucrative of all forms of writing, the ransom note.
3. Narrative Resume
— Born and raised on the shore of Lake Ontario near Rochester. I lived in Ireland for a time, working on the restoration of the Gaelic language. I spent many years in New York one block from the world’s largest meteorite. Currently, I’m a resident of the ghost-haunted Hudson Valley and a member of the Milan Rescue Squad. Afficionado of fireworks, juggling, yoga, circus arts, con games, history, human oddities, gangster lore, the American Revolution.
