Michael Hanagan

1. – I first met Harry Roseman a couple of years ago at Adams. We got to talking and both realized that we had seen one another at Vassar for years but never really been introduced.

2. – Michael Hanagan teaches at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York.  He is the author of several books on labor history and has also co-edited a number of books, most recently, EXPANDING RIGHTS, RECONFIGURING STATES and CHALLENGING AUTHORITY: THE HISTORICAL STUDY OF CONTENTIOUS POLITICS. He is a senior editor of INTERNATIONAL LABOR AND WORKING-CLASS HISTORY.
