Dearest Harry Stuart was my undergrad sculpture professor whom I first took a class with my sophomore year. That was 1996 probably. Although I was the only student in class to misunderstand almost every assignment that semester and having suffered crazy authority issues since forever, I surprisingly got along splendidly with Harry.
– I grew up in the suburbs of New Jersey in a family that I feel particularly bought into the shallow American Dream lifestyle. I watched hours of TV and learned my lessons from 80s sitcoms. I always loved to make art. As a child I preferred to paint than to play with any dolls or toys. At this point in my life, I have realized I can consider myself lucky to be so crazy that I need to make art to keep my sanity. It is what always keeps me working. Right now I am living in Albuquerque, NM with my husband Cullen, with our two cats and two dogs.
