1. — I met Harry and Cathy in the late nineties when Harry invited my husband, Peter, to do a guest artist lecture at Vassar. I remember a perfect few days – art and friendship, a visit with our daughter (a student at Vassar), and brilliant autumn foliage, so desired after 17 years in Texas. Thanks Harry and Cathy!
2. — I was raised in the Finger Lakes, between Ithaca and Trumansburg, traveled west to the U. of Colorado for a B.A., and continued west to San Francisco, ultimately received an M.A. (in literature) from San Francisco State. I met Peter in the Bay Area, on a blind date, and here we are 34 years later. We lived in Austin, Tx. for 19 years, and returned to New York in 2000. My clay pieces have been included in NCECA Clay National, Women and Their Work (Austin, Tx.), a solo show at the Redbud Gallery, Houston.
